E-SynergyE-Synergy was founded in 1999 by four technology entrepreneurs as an independent venture capital firm focusing on early stage technology. Their belief is that to be successful in early stage technology companies, investors must bring more than just capital to the table. E-Synergy currently manages the £30m Sustainable Technology Fund, a UK based LP fund. Typically they invest £500k to £2m, alone or in syndicated rounds, allocating some additional capital for follow-on financing. E-Synergy also manage a number of earlier stage funds including: East Midlands Early Growth Fund £5m MAS East MidlandsMAS in the East Midlands provides subsidised support and hands-on advice for manufacturers to assist in productivity and efficiency improvements. MAS East Midlands is coordinated by PERA, operating in association with Business Links and other regional partners; the aim is to improve manufacturing productivity and efficiency within small and medium-sized companies. Mentoring for AllMentoring for All is a programme to help business owners improve their own performance through developing their own skills and competencies. Mentoring sessions can be used to discuss any issue relating to the management or operation of the business. The mentor will act as a sounding board and will provide a focal point for discussions. They will listen, offer an experienced point of view and help evaluate solutions.
